You will then end your city tour with a visit to Wat Phnom Temple (Phnom Penh's namesake) from which you can enjoy views over the tree lined avenues of the city during sunset. You will stay overnight at your hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 2: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B/D)
This morning you will take a flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your guide and head off to visit Neak Pean, which means “coiled serpents.” You will also visit Tasom, the most distant temple on the grand circuit. The tour will also include a visit to one of the world’s most famous temples: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat has been a World Heritage Site since 1992, and is famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. After that, you will visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sunset view from Bakheng hill. Finally, you will have dinner as you watch a performance of Apsaras (Kmer folk dancing), followed by an overnight stay in Seam Reap.

You will have lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Ta Prohm (embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers), Pre Rup, East Mebon, Krovan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei and Ta Keo. You’ll then retire for an overnight stay in Siem Reap.

“Today is my first day back in the office following our visit to Thailand and Cambodia. Many thanks for your arrangements for our visit to Cambodia. As detailed we were very pleased with all aspects of our tour, both Phnom Penh and Seam Reap. Angkor was outstanding as I am sure you well know. We will definitely use your company for our return visits to South East Asia.”
