Day 1: Arrival Phnom Penh (D)

After arrival and pick up, you'll discover the city of Phnom Penh. Here, you'll visit Wat Phnom (an ancient pagoda standing on a hill) and the Independence Monument which commemorates the end of Cambodia's rule by France in 1953. There is also Wat Unalom (the oldest Buddhist foundation in the city) which is believed to predate the abandonment of the capital at Angkor in the 15th Century. The National Museum (built in 1917-18) is exclusively dedicated to Khmer arts. You will stay overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 2: Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville (B)

Today you will drive straight down to Sihanoukville, check in and have time for relaxation. The lovely beaches of Sihanoukville are some of the most unspoiled in all of Southeast Asia, although tourism is growing fast. There are some 10 km of beach stretching the whole length of the town and dozens of small islands just a short boat ride away, which make for a perfect tropical getaway, with facilities for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving, This free day will provide you some great opportunities to soak up the sun and sea as much as you want by spending your time swimming or lazing on a beach. You will stay overnight in Sihanoukville.

Day 3: Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh (B)

In the morning you will visit the international port, the fishing port, Independence Square and the Golden Lion. In the afternoon you will enjoy a private excursion to Kbal-Chay Waterfall before heading back to Phnom Penh. You will stay overnight in Phnom Penh .

Day 4: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B/D)

Today you will leave Phnom Penh for Siem Reap by flight. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara,) the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon you will visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and it is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. You will then enjoy a wonderful sunset view from the Phnom Bakheng Hills. There will be dinner with show at a local restaurant before an overnight stay in Seam Reap.

Day 5: Siem Reap (B/L)

Today you will visit to Banteay Srei Temple (10th century), regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art. Then you'll continue your visit to Banteay Samre, which was built in the third quarter of the 12th century. Then you will have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang ("The Royal Baths", which was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Keo (constructed in late 10th century) and Ta Prohm, one of the area's most beautiful temples. You will stay overnight in Seam Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap (B/L)

Today you will visit the Roluos Group, including with Lolei, Preah Kô, Bakong. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. You will continue to visit Eastern Mebon, Neak Poan and Preah Khan, which was built in 1191 according to legend and on a spot where the king fought a crucial battle against the Cham. You will stay overnight in Seam Reap.

Day 7: Departure (B)

After breakfast you will take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake and visit floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, hospitals, and visit the school known as "Les Artisans d'Angkor". You will then transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.
