Day 1: Arrival Seam Reap- Angkor Thom (D)

Warmly welcome at Siem Reap airport. Meets and transfers to hotel. This town is our base for visiting the world famous temples of the ancient city Angkor, home for the capital of the powerful Khmer Empire, which is dated from 802 AD to 1350 AD. This afternoon, we drive to the stunning royal city Angkor Thom. Enjoy an Elephant Ride from the South gate to the main complex. You will exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and then we go to view sunset from Phnom Bakheng, one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat. Dinner and enjoy watching Khmer Folk of charming Apsara dance show at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Ta Prohm - Angkor Wat Temple (B/L/-)

After breakfast – continue to the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.  We explore this masterpiece as well as some of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Sra Srong, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevada temple. In afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond.  Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Rolous group – Kampong Phluk - Departure (B)

After breakfast – We drive out of town to visit the oldest Khmer monuments, Rolous group and Kampong Phluk, located about 22km out of town. It is also one of natural tourisms and a mangroves for hundreds species of fresh water fishes and birds and decorated with ethnic stilted houses line over the water surface up to the air. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them, most of who live in stilted houses. The people depend largely on fishing and tourism for their incomes.

We journey goes through beautiful countryside rice field and grabs a sightseeing of best scenery, and has some stops for interesting village activities, see cattle & the morning market in Roluos with indigenously grown vegetables and many fish species. We visited temples before embark on the traditional wooden boat through the flooded forests of the Great Tonle Sap Lake, habitat of many bird species it will bring you to Kampong Phluk. This amazing floating village is built on 8 to 10 m high stilts. We visit an island pagoda, a school and traditional stilt houses to interact with the local families. Return to Siem Reap for relax and this afternoon, you will explore Artisan D’ Angkor, home of handicraft center and the place where you will find lots of souvenir gifts. This later evening transfer to airport for departure to next destination. Tour ends!

++ Note: Visit to Kampong Phluk can be accessed by boat during high water season (Aug – Feb) and we will use vehicle when water go down from Mar – Jul.
